Reflection Design Studio

We work out of a space at 140/B Goyal Park, which is situated on Judges Bunglow Road in Vastrapur. We are right across the street from Goyal Plaza. Reflection Design Studio is a small operation where we mostly focus on interior layouts and basic design work. The office is usually a bit of a mess with blueprints, color palettes, and material samples scattered across the tables. We are not a big, fancy firm with a receptionist and a coffee machine for guests. If you come by, you will probably find us hunched over our desks or talking loudly about where a light fixture should go. Vastrapur has changed a lot since we first moved in, and it is much busier now with all the new shops and apartments. We like the energy of this neighborhood, though. Our work is pretty straightforward; we take a look at a space and try to figure out how to make it more useful for the people living or working there. We do not use a lot of design jargon or try to sound like we are from a big city magazine. We just draw things up and then spend a lot of time talking to the workers on-site to make sure they are following the plan. Some days the ideas come easily, and other days we just stare at a blank page for a long time. It is a practical, creative job that keeps us busy.
