Raval Textile & Traders Shree Raval Textiles has been around for some time now. We are located right near C T M Mills on the National Highway No-8, just opposite Ami Akhandanand Society in Amraiwadi. It’s a busy part of town with all the traffic coming off the highway, so it gets quite loud outside our door. We deal in different types of fabrics and textiles, mostly supplying local folks and some smaller shops. The warehouse isn't the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is kept. You might see stacks of cloth sitting there waiting to be moved. Being near the mills means we’ve always been in the heart of the textile scene here. It’s hard work, moving heavy rolls of fabric and making sure the counts are right when we trade. Amraiwadi is a working-class neighborhood, and we fit right in. We aren't trying to be some big corporate office. It's just a regular trading business where we talk to customers face to face and handle the goods ourselves. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in the highway traffic, which delays things, but that’s just life on NH-8. We’ve seen the area change over the years, but the textile trade stays pretty steady. If you’re looking for us, just find the spot across from the society. We are usually here from morning until the sun goes down, just getting the work done. It's a lot of lifting, but it keeps us healthy and moving.
