Our office is in Ahmedabad, right near the Ratna Sagar Society. Most people who live around here know the area well. It is a crowded part of town, and the traffic can be a real headache in the mornings. We have been doing construction work for quite a while now. The office is not anything special to look at. It is just a place with some desks, computers, and stacks of paper that never seem to get smaller. We do not go in for the whole corporate look with suits and glass walls. Most of us just wear regular clothes because we spend half the day out at the actual building sites anyway. It is dusty work, and the Gujarat heat can be pretty brutal in the summer months. When we are back at the office, we are usually checking on supplies or arguing about the schedule. There is a small tea stall just down the road that brings us snacks in the afternoon. That is usually the highlight of the day. The table in the main room is always covered in blueprints that someone needs to sign. We do not spend money on fancy decorations because it does not help us get the job done any better. We just need a roof over our heads to coordinate everything. It is a bit tight when the whole crew is in, but we make it work.
