Jai Industries

We are located in the Rakhial area of Ahmedabad, specifically near Soni’s Chawl and the old Odhav Tolnaka. It is a very busy industrial pocket of the city. Our building is nothing special to look at from the outside, just a sturdy place where we can run our machines and store our supplies. We have been here for quite some time now. The neighborhood is full of small factories and workshops just like ours. You can hear the sounds of heavy work going on all around us from early morning until late at night. We have a small crew working here and we all pretty much know what we are doing without having to talk about it too much. The floors are made of concrete and they usually have some metal scrap or oil on them. That is just the natural state of the work we do. We do not have a fancy office or air conditioning in the main work area. We just keep the big fans going and get on with the jobs we have for the day. Most of our orders come from people we have known for many years. We do not do much advertising or marketing. People just know where to find us if they need something made correctly. We close up the shop around seven most nights and head home through the Ahmedabad traffic. It is a long day but the work is consistent. We like being part of this local industrial community.
