Arsi Agarbatti

We are located over at Chandulal Estate on Nagarwel Hanuman Road in Rakhial. It’s a busy part of Ahmedabad, and the area is always full of trucks and people moving things around. We’ve been making agarbatti here for a good while. Every morning, the smell of the raw materials is the first thing you notice when you open the shutters. It’s a bit of a messy job sometimes with all the powder and the sticks, but we just get on with it. The space we have isn't huge, but it works for what we do. Our workers mostly come from the nearby streets, so everyone knows each other. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. Ahmedabad 380023 is home for us. We don't really do much fancy stuff, just keep the machines running and pack the bundles. You can hear the noise from the main road all day long. It's just a normal workplace where people show up, do their shift, and head home. We keep the inventory stacked near the door for easy loading. Some days are busier than others when a big order needs to go out, but usually, it's just the steady rhythm of the rollers. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit since we first set up shop here, but the daily routine stays pretty much the same for all of us.
