Amul Agarbatti Works

Amul Agarbatti Works is located in the Pushpak Estate Complex. Our unit is Aa-9 and we are up on the first floor. The complex is inside the Gujarat Bottling Compound area in Rakhial. It can be a little tricky to find us because the compound is quite large. We are situated near the Navnirman Co-operative Bank, which is a good landmark for people trying to find the way. Being on the first floor means we are constantly moving boxes up and down the stairs. You can usually smell the incense before you even see our door. The scent of wood and perfume stays in our clothes all day. We spend our time rolling the sticks and packing them into boxes. The room is usually full of dust from the powders we use, so we try to keep the fans going. It is a small operation and we have been in this spot for a while. The estate is full of other small businesses, so there is always some noise from the neighbors. We don't have a lot of space for visitors, just the tables where we do the work. The Navnirman Co-operative Bank nearby is where we do our banking, so we are often back and forth. Rakhial is a busy industrial area and it feels like everyone is always in a hurry. We just stick to our routine and make sure the incense is ready for the day.
