Raj Furniture Mart/Raj Auto Finance

Our shop is over on Rakhial Road, right across from the old Monogram Mill and very close to the Rakhial Police Station. It’s a bit of an industrial area, so there’s a lot of grit and work going on all around us. We handle furniture but also do some auto finance work from the same spot. It might seem like a strange mix, but it’s just how we’ve grown over the years. The office part has a couple of desks for the finance side, and the rest of the space is taken up by sofas and cabinets. It’s a functional space, nothing too fancy. The ceiling is high and it can get a bit hot in the summer months. We get a lot of workers from the nearby mills and businesses coming in. Sometimes someone wants a loan for a vehicle, and other times they need a new bed for their house. We try to keep things organized, but with two different types of businesses in one place, it gets a bit crowded. There’s always the sound of motorcycles and trucks on the road outside. We’ve been in this part of Rakhial for a long time and know the people around here well. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We just open up in the morning, do our work, and head home when the sun goes down. There is always something to keep us occupied during the day at the shop.
