Our shop is tucked into Vasantnagar Society at number 28, right on the Bhairavnath Road in Maninagar. If you know where the General Co Op Bank is, we are basically right across from them in the Vallabhwadi area. It is a busy little stretch of road most of the time. We have got all sorts of appliances crammed in here, from small mixers to bigger machines that take up half the floor space. It can get a bit crowded when we have a lot of new deliveries coming in all at once. We have been here long enough that we know most of the people who live in the neighborhood. They often stop in to ask about a spare part or just to see what new models we have sitting out on the floor. The shop does not look like those big showrooms you see in the malls, it is more of a local place where the floor is a bit scuffed and the lighting is just okay. We spend the day moving boxes around and checking items before they go out to customers. Maninagar is a very lively place to be, and being near the bank means there is always foot traffic right outside our door. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We just open up, sweep the front, and get to work every morning.
