Down by Raipur Gate, inside the Nutan Cloth Market at number 32, that is where you will find our place. It is a busy part of Ahmedabad, always people moving around and trucks loading up. We deal with carbon products, which isn't exactly the cleanest business to be in. Our clothes usually have black smudges by the time lunch rolls around. It is a bit of a maze getting to our unit if you aren't used to the market layout. We have been in this spot for years now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy for that. Most days involve a lot of weighing and packing. We do not have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. You just walk in and talk to whoever is nearest the door. It is a straightforward way of doing things. We know our regulars and they know us. Sometimes the heat in the market gets a bit much, especially in May. We just drink a lot of water and keep moving. The noise of the city is always there in the background. It feels right to be in the middle of it all. We do not bother with much fancy talk. We just provide the carbon parts people ask for. It is a small team and we all pitch in. If the phone rings and everyone is busy, it might ring for a while. But we always get back to people eventually. It is just how it is. We finish the day when the last package is labeled.
