Marudhar International

You can find us at 67 Nutan Cloth Market, right outside Raipur Gate. It’s right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Ahmedabad’s textile trade. Marudhar International has been operating from this little shop for a good while. The market is always packed with people, stacks of fabric, and tea sellers weaving through the crowds. We deal mostly in wholesale cloth. Our space is filled from floor to ceiling with rolls of different materials. It’s a bit cramped, but we know where everything is. We spend our days talking to traders, checking the quality of the weaves, and arranging shipments. It’s a lot of manual work, moving heavy bundles around and making sure the counts are right. We don't do much in the way of fancy displays or lighting. People who come here know what they are looking for. We just show them the samples and talk numbers. The Raipur Gate area is historic, and it really feels like it when you are here. We like the energy of the market, even when it’s loud and dusty. We are just local people trying to keep the business running smoothly day by day. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just us, the fabric, and the customers who have been buying from us for a long time. We take it one order at a time and try to stay organized despite the chaos of the market. That is pretty much our whole world.
