You can find us at Anupam Textiles over in the New Cloth Market. The shop is number 79. It is situated right outside Raipur Gate, which is always a crowded spot. If you know the area, you know how much traffic there is. We spend our mornings opening up the shutters and getting things ready. Anupam Textiles is a small space, but we make it work. The New Cloth Market has its own rhythm, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. People pass by all day long on their way through Raipur Gate. Sometimes it gets so loud you can’t hear yourself think, but that’s just how it is here. We don’t have fancy air conditioning or anything, just some old fans that keep the air moving. Anupam Textiles is at 79, so we are easy to spot if you are walking through. The walls are a bit dusty and the floor is worn down from all the feet walking across it over the years. We just sell what we have and talk to the regulars who come in. It’s a simple life at the shop. Sometimes we share tea with the neighbors when things are quiet. Being at the New Cloth Market means you see all sorts of people. We just stay busy and keep the place running as best as we can. It’s just Anupam Textiles and we like it that way. The market is our home.
