Radhe Krishna Textile

You can find Radhe Krishna Textile at number 211 in the Rudra Arcade. We are right opposite the Kalupur area, which is always packed with people coming and going from the railway station. It’s a noisy spot because of all the traffic and the trains, but it keeps the energy up. We’ve been working out of this arcade for a while now. The space is filled with rolls of cloth and different textile materials. Most days involve unloading trucks and moving heavy bundles around. It’s dusty work sometimes. We started small and just kept at it, day after day. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just walls lined with fabrics and a desk where we do the paperwork. We drink a lot of chai while waiting for the morning rush to settle down. Being near Railwaypura means we see a lot of different faces, not just local folks but people traveling through too. Sometimes they get lost looking for the right unit in the arcade, so we tell them to look for the sign near the stairs. It’s a basic life, really. We get the textiles in, we show them to whoever asks, and we try to keep the place organized. It’s hard to keep things tidy with so much fabric everywhere, but we try. It is just the way we have always done things here in this corner of the city.
