Radha Marble Industries

Radha Marble Industries is located at Plot No 33 in Phase-I of the GIDC Estate in Naroda. It’s a very busy corner of the industrial area, right near the railway crossing. You can always hear the trains passing by, and the gates going down usually causes a bit of a traffic jam right outside our entrance. We are situated behind Old Ruby and near Ingersoll Rand, which are big landmarks for anyone trying to find us. The yard is full of marble slabs stacked up high. We spend our days moving these around with the crane and checking for any cracks or flaws. The ground is always white with marble dust, and it gets into everything, even our coffee mugs. We don’t have much in the way of a fancy showroom; people just walk through the stacks to see what they like. It’s a very practical environment. Sometimes the dust gets so thick we have to spray everything down with water. The heat in Naroda Gidc doesn't make it any easier, but we have a small shade where we sit during breaks. We’ve been part of the GIDC for a long time. Everyone around here knows each other. We just focus on getting the slabs cut and loaded onto the trucks for the next delivery. It is a loud, messy place but we have been here for years and it suits us just fine.
