Our office at 11, Sona-Roopa is where we handle all the business for Raajratna Electrodes Pvt. Ltd. It’s a solid building and we’ve been in this space for a good while. We deal mostly with welding electrodes, so there’s a lot of talk about specifications and diameters all day long. The office is usually filled with the sound of ringing phones and people discussing shipping schedules. We don’t have any fancy art on the walls or leather chairs. It’s just a place where we sit and work. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like. We have stacks of files everywhere because we like to keep records of everything. It’s a bit cramped when we get a lot of visitors at once, but we make it work with some extra stools. We don't put out ads or try to sound bigger than we are. Most people we work with have known us for years. We eat our lunch together at the main table when things quiet down for a bit. The afternoon sun hits the windows quite hard, so we keep the blinds down most of the day. It’s a steady routine of taking orders and making sure the factory knows what to send out. We aren't fancy, just busy with the daily grind of the welding trade and managing the paperwork.
