R. A. ELECTRICALS

So, R. A. Electricals is tucked away in Saraswati House, right near the HDFC bank on Gandhi Road. It’s a busy spot, usually lots of traffic outside and people rushing around. We’ve been operating out of number 1774 for quite some years now. It started as a small shop and just stayed that way mostly. We deal with electrical stuff, mostly because that’s what we know. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at, just shelves full of wires, switches, and whatever else people need for their homes or projects. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the whole street and the neighbors get a bit annoyed, but we get things moved as fast as we can. My brother usually handles the counter while I’m in the back or out meeting people. It’s a lot of work keeping track of all the different parts and pieces. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just know we're here next to the bank. Some mornings are quiet, giving us time to organize the racks, but by afternoon it gets pretty hectic with everyone stopping by on their way home. We just try to keep things running. It’s a simple living. If the lights are on, we’re probably open and someone is around to help out. Nothing more to it than that, really. We just take it one day at a time here.
