You can find us at 323, Abu Bakar Chawl, which is in the Bagicha area of Dharavi. We are right behind the Kamgar Medical Store and near the big Johnson & Johnson company building. It’s a very lively and crowded neighborhood. Finding us for the first time might take a bit of asking around because the lanes are quite small and there are no big signs. We operate out of a small space where we do a lot of different things to keep the business going. It’s always loud with the sounds of the street and people talking right outside the door. We aren’t a big company with many departments. It’s just a few of us working together in a tight space. We have to be very organized with our inventory because there isn’t much room to spare. Every inch of the place is used for something. We’ve been in Dharavi for a long time and we know everyone around here. It’s a place where people work hard and help each other out. We don’t have a website or anything like that usually, we just rely on people knowing our name and where we sit. It’s a very direct way of doing things. We just try to finish our work every day and make sure our customers are satisfied with what we provide. It’s a tough environment but it feels like home to us.
