We’re located right opposite the under bridge in Usmanpura. It’s a spot where you can’t really miss us if you’re driving through that way. The noise from the bridge overhead is something you just learn to live with. It’s constant. Punjab Auto Care isn’t some polished office; it’s a garage where we get our hands dirty every single day. There’s usually a thin layer of dust on everything because of the construction and the traffic nearby. We focus on fixing what's broken. Some days it’s just oil leaks and brake pads. Other days we have to take a whole engine apart, which takes up a lot of floor space. We try to keep things organized, but when you have five cars in at once, it gets a bit messy. The guys here don't wear suits. We wear overalls that have seen better days. It’s a local shop feel. We know the people who live around Usmanpura and they know us. We don’t try to sell you stuff you don’t need. If a part still has life in it, we’ll say so. It’s just easier to be honest with people. Sometimes the phone rings and we can't hear it over the sound of a drill, so we have to call back later. That’s just life under the bridge. We’ve been here a good while now, just working through the heat and the noise until the job is done.
