Prosound Sysytem / Altec Electronics

You can find us down in the basement of Rudra Square. It is located near the Judges Bunglow 4 Road, right on Premchand Nagar Rd in Bodakdev. Being in the basement actually works out well for us at Prosound Sysytem / Altec Electronics because it stays a bit cooler and we don't have to worry as much about the noise we make. We have a lot of gear stacked up around the place—speakers, amplifiers, and all sorts of cables. It is definitely a working space, not a fancy office. There is a bit of a hum from the building's machinery sometimes, but we are used to it. The stairs leading down can be a bit steep if you are carrying something heavy. We spend most of our time testing equipment or packing things up for different projects. The Bodakdev area is usually pretty busy, but down here it feels a bit more tucked away. We don't have a lot of signage out front, so you have to look for the Rudra Square entrance. Our desks are mostly covered in manuals and tools. It is the kind of place where things are organized in a way that only we really understand. We have been working out of this basement for a good while now. It serves us well for what we do every day. It is just a bunch of us who know our way around a sound system, trying to keep things running smoothly. We usually grab lunch from the stalls nearby and eat while we look over the project list.
