Pratham Enterprises

You can find us over at Plot No 5-1 / 3A-3 in the Nagari Nivara Parishad area of Santosh Nagar. This is up in Goregaon East, which has changed a lot over the years with all the new buildings. We operate out of a modest space here. It is a bit of a climb to get through the local traffic sometimes, but we are used to it by now. Pratham Enterprises is basically a place where we manage various supplies and small-scale operations. It is not a corporate headquarters with glass walls. It’s more of a functional room filled with ledgers, samples, and a couple of desks that have seen better days. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves in our own neighborhood. Most of our neighbors know us, and we try to keep things quiet and respectful since it is a mixed area. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating things or checking on deliveries that are coming through the narrow streets. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult in this part of Mumbai, but we stay open and keep the work moving. It is a simple life of buying, selling, and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the month without any big drama or complicated plans. We just take things one day at a time and handle what comes through the door.
