Prashant Castings Pvt. Ltd. is located right on Mavdi Main Road. It’s a busy area, so there’s always something happening outside our gates. We’ve been doing casting work here for a long time. The foundry is a loud place with the sound of the furnace and the machines running all day. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, and most of us go home with black dust on our faces. We do iron casting and other metal work for various industries. Our setup is pretty simple. We have the main workshop and a small area for the office work. We don't go in for any of that corporate polish or fancy branding. People know us because we’ve been on Mavdi Main Road for years and they know what to expect when they come here. We take on all sorts of jobs, from small single pieces to larger batches. The summer heat makes the shop feel like an oven sometimes, but we just get on with it. We have a crew of workers who have been with us since the start. We don't spend money on ads or big signs. Most of our work comes from people who have been dealing with us for decades. We just try to be honest about what we can do and when we can get it finished. It’s a straightforward business and that’s how we like it. We focus on the metal and the molds every single day.
