We are based out of the second floor of Commerce House - 4. It is tucked behind the Shell petrol pump on the 100ft Road. Even though the company name is on a lot of storefronts around the city, this is where the back-end stuff happens. It is not a place where you would come to eat a meal, but it is where the planning for all those locations takes place. The office is usually a hive of activity. There is always someone running to a meeting or checking on supply chains. Being on the 100ft Road means it is easy for us to get around the city, which is important for the work we do. The building itself is pretty standard for this part of Ahmedabad. We have some desks, some computers, and a lot of coffee being drank throughout the day. It is not a polished corporate headquarters with marble floors and quiet hallways. It is a working office where people are actually doing the grit work. We deal with a lot of logistics and numbers here. Sometimes it feels like there are not enough hours in the day to get everything finished before the weekend. We do not spend much time on fancy talk or long presentations. We just focus on making sure the restaurants have what they need to keep people fed. It is a lot of coordination and making sure the details are right.
