Pooja Medical Nursing Home

We are located right in the Jyotidarshan Society, which sits at the Ashish Char Rasta in the Meghaninagar area of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It is a very busy part of town because the main Civil Hospital is located right there as well. We have been running this nursing home for quite a long time now. It is not a massive hospital like the one just down the road, but we stay very busy nonetheless. People from the society and the surrounding neighborhood come to see us for all sorts of different medical needs. There are always people sitting in the waiting area and you can hear the sounds of the city traffic coming in through the open windows. Being so close to the Civil Hospital means there is always an ambulance or a loud bus passing by outside. We have a small staff of nurses and helpers who keep the entire place running day and night. It involves a lot of cleaning, checking patient charts, and talking with families about their relatives. We do not have any kind of big marketing budget or a PR person. We just focus on the patients who walk through our front door. The building itself is part of the residential society, so it feels a little more like a home than a cold clinic. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming when too many people arrive at once, but we just keep the doors open and help whoever comes in.
