Pooja Dhoop

Pooja Dhoop is located at number 1, Ambe Nagar Society. We are right near the Laxminarayan Nagar Bus Stand in Maninagar East. Being so close to the bus stand means there are always people moving about. You can usually smell the incense before you even get to our door. We make dhoop here, so the scent stays on our clothes all day. It’s a small operation in Ambe Nagar Society. We don't have a giant factory. It’s more of a local setup where we do the mixing and packing ourselves. The space is filled with bags of ingredients and finished boxes ready to go out. Maninagar East is a busy place, but our little corner feels okay. We start early in the morning before the heat gets too bad. The neighbors know us well because of the smell. We don't use any fancy machines, just simple tools and our hands for most of it. It’s a lot of work to keep up with the orders. Sometimes we run out of space and have to stack boxes in the hallway. We aren't trying to be a big corporation. We just like making good dhoop that people can use. It’s a simple business run by regular people. We just stay focused on our work here in the society near the bus stand. Every day we just try to get the packing done on time and keep things moving.
