Polyklad Skylight Installers

Down in Gokula, specifically over at No. 17 on Triveni Road, you’ll find our workshop for Polyklad Skylight Installers. We spend most of our time climbing onto roofs or measuring out frames in the back of the shop. It’s a bit of a maze getting here if you don’t know the 3rd Main area well, but once you see the stacks of glass and metal frames, you know you’ve found us. The 2nd Phase gets pretty busy during the day, so there’s always noise from the street coming into the office. We started out just doing small repairs, but now we’re doing whole installations for houses all over the city. It’s physical work, and our boots are usually covered in dust by lunch. We aren't big on sitting in meetings; we’d rather be out at a site figuring out why a seal is leaking or how to get more light into a dark kitchen. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate and we have to reschedule everything, which is a pain for everyone, but we try to be honest about it. We have a small crew and we’ve all been working together long enough that we don't need to say much to get the job done. The office at Ist Stage is where the paperwork lives, though none of us really likes doing it much. We mostly just focus on the next roof and making sure the glass fits right before the rain starts.
