We’re working out of the Sundarvan Apartment on Sola Road. It’s a pretty well-known spot in the Naranpura area of Ahmedabad. Our office is unit 266/3182. It’s a bit different working out of an apartment building, but it’s actually quite convenient for the team. We have a lot of local shops nearby for when we need supplies or just a quick lunch in the afternoon. The work we do is mostly about managing the various project phases and keeping everyone on the same page. We have folders stacked up on every available surface and a whiteboard that is usually covered in scribbles and important dates. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. The lift in the building is sometimes a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs a lot to save time. It’s a busy neighborhood, and there is always something going on outside on Sola Road. We try to keep our heads down and stay on top of the paperwork that comes in every day. There are usually three or four of us here at any given time. We talk a lot about the current project status and what needs to happen next. It’s just regular office work, really. We don’t try to make it sound more important than it is. We just want to make sure the projects we are responsible for get finished on time and correctly.
