We have been operating out of Shardanand Marg for quite some time now. Being located at number 44 on G.B. Road means we are right in the middle of all the noise and the busy streets. It is a place filled with heavy metal and the smell of oil. Every morning starts with opening the shutters and sweeping the front area. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just shelves full of parts and machines that people need for their own work. We spend a lot of time talking to folks who stop by looking for a specific tool or asking how a certain piece of equipment works. It gets really hot in the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and drink plenty of tea from the guy down the street. Shardanand Marg is always packed with trucks and carts, so there is never a quiet moment. We’ve grown used to the chaos of the market. The building is old and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it serves its purpose. We don't do anything flashy here. We just show up, handle the machinery, and make sure things are sorted for whoever comes through the door. It’s a simple way of making a living and we’ve been part of this neighborhood long enough that most people know where to find us when something breaks down. We just keep plugging away at it daily.
