Pisces Shipping

Our office is at 203 Abhijeet-III. It’s right across from the Mayor’s Bungalow and just above the Pantaloons store in Mithakhali. If you’re in Ahmedabad, it’s a pretty easy landmark to find. We’ve been here at Pisces Shipping for a long time. The view of the street from the window is mostly just traffic and people shopping at the mall below. It gets a bit noisy during the festival seasons, but that's just how Mithakhali is. Inside, it’s just a regular workspace. We have desks, some old chairs that probably need replacing, and a lot of shipping files. We spend most of our day on the phone or checking schedules. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The team is small, just a handful of us who have worked together for ages. We know each other's families and what we like to eat for lunch. There’s no big corporate manual here. We just handle the shipping stuff as it comes in. Sometimes things go smooth, sometimes there are delays at the port, and we just deal with it. It’s a practical way of working. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. Just a calendar and maybe a few photos. Being above a clothing store means we always see the latest trends, though we don't really pay much attention. We’re just here to work and make sure the cargo gets moved.
