Our address is 414/10, Pa Wadi, Gopal Nagar, in the Amraiwadi area of Ahmedabad. It is a very active part of the city with lots of small businesses and workshops crammed together. We work on the building systems and steel structures side of things, so our space is filled with heavy equipment and a lot of metal parts. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. We are usually in work clothes and have some grease or dust on our hands. The building we are in is practical and doesn't have any of those modern glass walls. We spend our days coordinating deliveries and making sure the fabrication is going according to the sketches we have pinned up. The noise from the surrounding shops in Amraiwadi is constant, but it’s just part of the local atmosphere here. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to tell us how to sound professional. We just talk to each other like regular people and get the work done. Some days the heat in Ahmedabad makes it hard to focus, so we take breaks when we can. We've been at this location for a while and the locals know us. It’s just a straightforward operation without any unnecessary complications or corporate talk. We just handle the steel and move on. There is usually a line of trucks waiting outside on Monday mornings for their loads. We just keep our heads down and do the job.
