Shri Shiv Shakti Ice Factory

Running an ice factory like Shri Shiv Shakti Ice Factory is mostly about keeping the machines going. We are located at Plot No. 5209 in Phase-4 of GIDC, Vatva. It gets pretty cold inside the plant, which is a nice change from the heat outside in Ahmedabad. We make blocks of ice all day long. Sometimes the demand is really high when it’s hot, and we are working around the clock to fill up the trucks. It’s a noisy place with the compressors running constantly. You get used to the sound after a while though. We don’t spend much time on paperwork or fancy meetings. Most of our day is spent checking the water levels and making sure the freezing process is on track. The floors are usually wet, so you have to watch your step. We’ve been at this spot in Vatva for some time now and know most of the neighbors. It’s a simple business, really. We make ice, people buy it, and we move on to the next batch. It’s hard work on the back, lifting those heavy blocks, but it’s what we do. The machinery is old but it works well enough for us. We just focus on getting the daily quota done and keeping the power bills manageable. It’s a honest living right here in the GIDC area. We don't have a website or anything, people just know us through word of mouth and seeing our trucks on the road.
