Shree Rang-Avdhut Ice Factory

Shree Rang-Avdhut Ice Factory is located at Plot No. 2909 in Phase-4 of GIDC Vatva. It is a bit different from the other factories around here because our place is always wet and cold. While everyone else is dealing with heat and smoke, we are surrounded by giant tanks of water and heavy blocks of ice. The sound of the refrigeration units is a constant hum that you eventually stop noticing after a few hours. We start our work very early, often before the sun is even up, because that’s when the trucks come to pick up the ice for the day. Moving those big blocks is heavy work and you have to be careful not to slip on the floor. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People just come to the gate at Plot 2909 when they need ice. We’ve been running this factory for quite a while now, and it is a family-run sort of thing. We don't use any high-tech marketing or big advertisements. We just rely on being here every morning and having the ice ready when it's needed. The work is cold and wet, and our hands are usually freezing, but it is what we do. It’s a straightforward business, and we are just glad to keep the machines running and the ice moving out to the city. Sometimes it is a bit of a struggle in the peak of summer, but we just keep going.
