Agri W. S. Products

Our place, Agri W. S. Products, is located over at Plot No. 3817 in Phase-4 of the GIDC in Vatva. It’s a pretty large industrial zone, so it takes a bit of driving to get back here from the main road. We deal with agricultural items mostly. The shed is filled with various metal components and parts that go into farming equipment. It’s a practical space. We have heavy racks against the walls and some workbenches that have seen better days. The floor is swept every evening, but by ten in the morning, it’s covered in metal shavings again. We don't really have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. Most of what we do is just steady work. The workers show up on their cycles or scooters, and we get the power switched on. The atmosphere in Phase-4 is very industrial. You hear the sounds of heavy machinery from the neighbors all day long. It can be a bit loud, but you get used to it after a week. We keep a small stove in the corner for making tea during the breaks. It’s an important part of the day for everyone here. When a shipment is ready, we load it onto the small tempos that come down the narrow lanes between the plots. When it rains, the road outside gets some big puddles, so we have to watch where we step. It’s a straightforward way of living.
