Shree Ganesh Saw Mill

Shree Ganesh Saw Mill is situated at Plot No. 1818/2 in Phase-3 of the GIDC in Vatva. If you come by, you’ll definitely hear us before you see us. The sound of the saws cutting through timber is pretty constant throughout the day. There is usually sawdust everywhere, even if we try to sweep it up every afternoon. It just comes with the territory of running a mill. We work with various types of wood, and the smell of fresh cut logs is something you get used to quickly. The yard gets pretty crowded when a new shipment of timber arrives on the trucks. We have to move things around carefully so the forklifts have enough room to operate. Our workers are experienced with the blades and know how to handle the heavy lifting without making a fuss. It’s a gritty job, and our clothes usually end up covered in wood shavings by the time we head home. We don’t have a shiny lobby for visitors, just a small cabin where we keep the logs and take calls. The Phase-3 area is a bit quieter than some other parts of GIDC, but it still has that industrial energy. We just focus on getting the dimensions right for whatever the customer needs. It’s simple, physical work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We like the honesty of working with our hands like this.
