Saikrupa Agro Industries

Being based out of Plot No. D2-112 in Phase-2 here in Vatva, we see a lot of activity every single day. Saikrupa Agro Industries is right in the middle of this GIDC patch, and it's always dusty and loud, which is just how it is in this line of work. We deal with agro-related things, so the smells and the textures are very specific to our trade. Sometimes there’s grain dust in the air or the sound of processing machines humming along in the background. It’s a practical place. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. You just walk in past the gate and you’ll see us working near the loading bay. My uncle started this with just a few hands, and now we have a steady crew that knows exactly what to do when the raw materials arrive. The weather affects us a lot, especially the monsoon when the roads get muddy and the trucks get stuck. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and farmers, trying to keep things moving. Lunch is usually a shared thing in the back room where it's a bit quieter for a few minutes. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to keep the machines running and the orders going out on time. It's honest work and it keeps our families fed. Most of us have been here for years, so we’re more like a small neighborhood than a company.
