Radhey Industries

Radhey Industries is set up at Plot No. A-2/17 in Phase-2 of the GIDC in Vatva. Vatva is a heavy industrial area, and our plot is right in the thick of it. The air here usually has that metallic smell from all the factories nearby. Our shed is pretty large, filled with heavy equipment and metal parts. We spend a lot of time moving things with the overhead crane because they are too heavy to lift by hand. The floor is concrete and always has a few oil spots no matter how much we try to clean it. I usually wear my old work boots because the floor gets cold in the winter and hot in the summer. We have a small cabin for the paperwork, but I prefer being out on the floor where the action is. The noise from the neighboring units blends in with ours to make a constant roar. We get our supplies delivered by big trailers that have a hard time turning into our gate. It’s a bit of a squeeze every time. We have a small bench outside under a tree where we take our tea breaks. It’s the only quiet spot we have. We’ve been here at A-2/17 for a long time, and we know all the other owners on this street. We just keep our heads down and get the orders out as fast as the machines allow us.
