Prism Colours

Prism Colours is located at Plot No. 511 in Phase-2 of the GIDC in Vatva. Since we work with various pigments and dyes, our facility is almost always covered in some kind of color. You might see blue dust on the floor one day and red the next. It’s a messy business, and no matter how much we clean, the stains stay on the floor and the walls. It’s just part of the job. Vatva is a massive industrial area, so it’s always hectic with trucks coming and going. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot of work into it. We mix different batches and check them manually to see if they match what was asked for. We don’t have a lab that looks like something out of a movie. It’s all very basic and practical. We have a small group of guys who have been doing this for a long time. They don't need much instruction anymore. We don't do any big promotions or have a sales team. We just wait for the phone to ring or for regular customers to drop by. Sometimes the smells from the chemicals can be quite strong, but you get used to it. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving bags around and cleaning out the mixers. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay on top of the orders.
