Chipco Bonding Systems (I) Pvt. Ltd. is based at Plot No. 150 in Phase-2 of Vatva GIDC. We work with adhesives and bonding agents, so there is usually a distinct chemical smell in the air around our unit. It is not a huge place, but we make good use of the space we have. There are lots of drums and containers stacked up, filled with different liquids and resins. We have to be careful with how we handle everything, so there are plenty of safety rules we follow every day. Our workers wear gloves and masks when they are mixing things. It is a very precise job because if the mix is wrong, the whole batch is ruined. We do not have a lot of walk-in customers; most of our work is done through regular orders from other industrial players. The office is a small room where we keep our formulas and logs. It is nothing special to look at, just a place to do the paperwork. We spend most of our time out on the floor checking the batches. Sometimes deliveries are late and it throws off our whole schedule, but we just deal with it as it happens. Working in Vatva means being part of a big industrial community, and we have been at this plot for a long time now. We aren't trying to be fancy, just keeping the production moving along like everyone else around here in the neighborhood.
