You can find Tmvt Industries Pvt. Ltd. over at Plot No. 84/A in Phase-1 of the GIDC in Vatva. We deal with heavy machinery, mostly things like pumps and blowers. It’s a greasy, noisy kind of business, but we like it that way. The workshop is usually a mess of tools and parts being cleaned or put together. We don't have a fancy showroom for people to walk through. Most of our visitors are just here to pick up a repair or talk about a new order. Our technicians have hands that are almost always covered in oil or grit. They’ve been working on these types of machines for a long time and can usually tell what’s wrong just by the sound it makes. We don't spend much on decorations for the office; we’d rather buy a new lathe or a better set of wrenches. The neighborhood is full of other factories, so there’s always the sound of trucks and sirens in the background. It gets pretty dusty, so we’re always wiping down the equipment before it goes out to a customer. We just try to do a solid job on every piece that comes through the door. If a machine breaks down, we know it costs the owner money, so we try not to waste any time. It’s a practical way to earn a living, and we’ve been doing it at this location for quite a few years now.
