Suchem Laboratories

Our place, Suchem Laboratories, is at Plot No. 10/13 in Phase-1, GIDC, Vatva. It looks like a lab, but it’s not all shiny like the ones you see on TV. We have lots of glass beakers, some old scales, and rows of blue containers. The work we do involves a lot of patience and keeping things as clean as possible. It’s not always easy in an industrial zone like Vatva where there’s a lot of dust blowing around outside. We spend a fair bit of time just making sure our workspace is ready for the next batch. We don’t have a big reception area with a coffee machine or a receptionist. Usually, if you visit, you’ll just find us in our lab coats looking at some test results or mixing something up in the back. It’s a small team here. We’ve known each other for years, so we don't need many meetings to know what needs to happen next. Sometimes we stay late when a reaction takes longer than we thought it would. That’s just the nature of working with chemicals and formulas. We don’t make big promises or use complicated words to describe our day. We just follow the steps and see what the data tells us. The heat in the summer can be a bit much, especially with some of the equipment running, but we have some fans that help. It’s a steady, quiet life here at Plot 10/13.
