Gurukrupa Moulding Works

Gurukrupa Moulding Works is tucked away at Plot No. C1B-90/12 in Phase-1 of GIDC, Vatva. We’ve got a shop full of molds and presses. If you walk in, the first thing you notice is the sound of the machines clicking and the smell of warm plastic or metal, depending on what we’re running that day. It’s a local operation. We don’t have a marketing department or a fancy website. Most of our work comes from people who know us or have been coming here for years. We spend a lot of time tweaking the molds to get the shapes just right. Sometimes a mold doesn’t release right and we have to spend hours figuring out why. It can be frustrating, but that’s the nature of moulding. The floor is usually a bit dusty, and there are stacks of finished parts waiting to be packed up. We try to keep the coffee pot going in the corner for when the afternoon slump hits the crew. The guys here are good at what they do, even if they don’t say much during the shift. We’ve seen Vatva grow up around us, with more shops opening and the roads getting more crowded every year. We just stay focused on the work at hand. It’s about getting the dimensions right and making sure the parts are solid and ready to go out the door.
