Our company, Shubhlaxmi Technocast Pvt. Ltd., is located over in Phase-4 of the GIDC in Vatva. We have a fairly large footprint here, taking up Plot No. 4901 and 4801/4/A. Casting is what we do, which means our facility is often very hot and full of the smells of molten metal and sand molds. It is a tough environment but it’s what we are used to. Phase-4 is a massive area, and being at this end of Vatva means we deal with a lot of heavy logistics. You’ll see trucks coming in with raw materials and leaving with finished castings all day long. We don’t spend money on fancy lobbies or air-conditioned showrooms. Most of the building is dedicated to the actual work floor where the casting happens. Our office is just a small corner where we handle the paperwork and take calls from people looking for updates. The people working here have been with us for a long time, and we all know the routine by heart now. It is heavy, physical work and you can’t be afraid to get a bit of soot on your face. We don’t really do marketing or go around telling people we are the best. We just focus on the molds and the pours, making sure each piece comes out the way it’s supposed to. It’s a gritty, honest way to make a living in the heart of the Vatva industrial zone. We just keep our heads down and work hard until the shift is over.
