Shree Industries is tucked away in Phase-4 of GIDC in Vatva. If you're looking for Plot No. C-1B/4523, you might miss it if you aren't paying attention to the signs. We’ve been set up here for a while. The neighborhood is full of other units doing all sorts of things, so there is always noise and trucks moving around. Inside our building, it’s mostly just the smell of metal and grease. We don't have a big front office or anything. Most of the space is just for the actual work. Some days are hotter than others, especially in the middle of summer when the roof gets warm. We just drink plenty of water and keep at it. People here know each other by name. It’s not like those big companies where nobody knows who is who. We handle our own stuff and try not to make too much of a mess, though that's hard sometimes with what we do. Vatva is a good area for this kind of work because everything we need is close by. We don’t really do fancy meetings or presentations. We just show up, do the shift, and then lock up for the night. It's a straightforward way to make a living. There is always someone cleaning something or moving parts around. We just keep our heads down and get through the daily list of tasks without much fuss. The days go by fast when you have a lot to load onto the trucks.
