If you come looking for Mukesh Enterprises, you will find our gate at Plot No. 2710 in Phase-4 of the GIDC estate in Vatva. It is just a regular industrial plot where we do our work every day without much fuss. We started this business with just a few people and a couple of machines, and though we have grown a bit, the way we do things hasn't changed much. The office is just a small room in the corner where we keep the files and have a cup of tea while we talk about the schedule. Outside that door, it’s all business. There’s the sound of metal clanging and the smell of oil. We don't have a polished image or a team of people to handle public relations. If you call, you’ll probably just talk to one of us who is already busy with an order. We deal with a lot of local people and other businesses in the GIDC area. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when the monsoon rains flood the roads around here, but we still try to get the work finished. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world; we just want to do a decent job so we can keep the lights on and the workers paid. It’s a simple life and a simple business, and we are quite happy with that. We just show up at Plot 2710 every morning and see what the day brings.
