Ark

Ark is our small setup over at Plot No. C-1/4414 in Phase-4 of GIDC, Vatva. It’s a modest space, but it’s where we spend most of our waking hours. The name is short, and we like to keep things simple just like that. We don't go in for big displays or complicated business talk. When you walk in, you’ll see some benches, a few tools, and whatever project we are currently putting together. The floors are concrete and have seen a lot of use over the years. We have a small corner for tea and a desk where we keep our receipts and notebooks. Phase-4 is a busy part of the GIDC, so there’s always the sound of nearby factories and the rumbling of heavy vehicles going past our gate. We get along well with the people in the neighboring plots. Sometimes we trade tools or help someone fix a broken gate. Our schedule is pretty much the same every day. We start early, work through the heat, and wrap up when the light starts to fade. It is not the kind of place that would be in a magazine, but it’s ours and we know every inch of it. We take the work as it comes and try to stay steady. It’s a quiet, hardworking life here at the plot. We just keep things moving and do our part in the industrial zone.
