Started out in Naroda at Plot 29/4 a while back. The GIDC here is always packed with trucks and people moving things around. It's not a quiet place by any means. Our workshop at Swastik Industries is pretty straightforward. We have some machines, some benches, and a lot of metal lying around depending on the day. My uncle used to say that Naroda is the heart of the small shops in this area, and it really feels like it when you are trying to find parking in the morning. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. It's just a bunch of us showing up, doing the welding or the cutting, and heading home. The roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains really hard in July, but we just put a bucket under it and keep going. Most of the guys here have been living in the same neighborhood for decades. We drink tea from the stall at the corner twice a day. It is just a regular factory doing regular things. Nothing too special to look at from the outside, just a gate and some brick walls. We keep the machines running as much as we can. It gets dusty, and the noise from the neighbors is constant, but that is just part of being in this section of the GIDC. We just get the work done.
