Laxminarayan Industries

Laxminarayan Industries is situated at Plot No. 1401 in Phase-3 of the Vatva Gidc. This part of the industrial estate is always humming with activity. We have a decent-sized shed where we do our manufacturing work. It is mostly industrial components that require heavy machinery. The machines need a lot of oil and grease to stay in good shape, so the floor always has a few stains here and there. It gets very warm inside during the afternoon hours, especially in the summer. We have a small cabin in the corner where we keep the computer and the phone. My brother handles the staff on the floor while I look after the raw materials coming in. We buy a lot of steel and various metals. The traffic in Vatva can be a real headache in the evenings when everyone is trying to leave at the same time. We have seen this whole area grow from empty land to a place packed with factories. We don't have any polished mission statements or fancy corporate slogans. Our goal is just to finish the orders on time so we can move on to the next one. Most of our customers just call us on our mobiles when they need something. We have known them for a long time. We just prefer to stay busy and keep the machines running throughout the week.
