Amidhara Enterprise

Our place, Amidhara Enterprise, sits on Plot No. 1319-1320 in Phase-3 of the GIDC, Vatva. Having two plots gives us a bit more room to breathe, which is good because we have a lot of inventory coming in and going out. The yard area is usually full of crates and empty pallets waiting to be picked up. We have a few big doors that we leave open during the day to let the air circulate, even though the Vatva air isn't exactly fresh. Inside, the ceiling is high and the echoes of the machines bounce off the metal roof. We have a small cabin for the accounts, but it’s mostly filled with samples and spare parts. The staff usually brings their own tiffins and we sit around the big table in the back at noon. There is a lot of heavy lifting involved in what we do, so everyone stays pretty fit. We don't bother with fancy uniforms or big logos on the walls. People know where we are because of the big yellow gate. It gets pretty hectic on Fridays when we try to clear out all the pending shipments before the weekend. The driveway is a bit bumpy, so the truck drivers always complain when they back in. We just tell them to be careful and keep moving. It’s a solid, hardworking environment where we just focus on the tasks at hand.
