Pranav Industries

We have been located at Plot No. C-1B/383 in Phase-2 of the Vatva GIDC for many years now. Pranav Industries is just a basic manufacturing unit, nothing fancy to see from the outside. The shed is made of corrugated sheets and concrete. It gets very hot in the summer months, but a couple of big fans help a little bit with the airflow. Most of our work involves making small metal parts for bigger machines. There are a few old lathes and a milling machine that we use every day. My father started this place. I took over when he got too old to stand on the shop floor for long hours. Four workers who live nearby help us out. They are good people and know their jobs well. Every morning starts with some tea and then we get right to work. The area around Vatva is always busy with trucks and people moving things. Sometimes the traffic makes it hard for deliveries to get out on time, but that is just how it is here. A sales team or brochures are things we don't have. If people need work done, they usually just come to the gate and ask for me. We don't try to be something we are not. Making the parts and hoping the machines don't break down too often is what we do. It is a simple life and it keeps us busy enough. The floor is always a bit oily.
