Bons Light Pvt. Ltd. is based at Plot No. 564 in Phase-2 of the GIDC, Vatva. Being in Phase-2 means we are a bit further in than some of the older shops. We work with all sorts of lighting products. If you walk into our unit, you’ll see rows and rows of light bulbs, fixtures, and cardboard boxes piled up to the ceiling. It’s a bright place, obviously. We spend our days testing circuits and packing orders for local shops and contractors. It’s not a high-tech lab with white walls; it’s more of a busy warehouse where people are moving around with trolleys and tape guns. We don't have a fancy website or a big sales team in suits. We just answer the phone and help people find the right light for their building. Sometimes we get a batch of components that aren't quite right, and we have to spend the whole day sorting through them by hand. That’s just how it goes sometimes in manufacturing. The traffic in Vatva can be a real pain in the afternoon, so we try to get our loading done before the rush hits. Our staff is a mix of young guys and some older folks who have been in the electrical trade forever. We don't use a lot of buzzwords. We just sell lights and try to make sure they stay on once they’re installed. It’s a straightforward business and we’re happy to be here.
