Balaji Industries takes up two plots, I-5632 and I-5633, over in Phase-2 of GIDC Vatva. Having that extra bit of space helps, but it also means there’s more to manage. Our sheds are filled with equipment and raw materials, and it can get pretty cramped even with the two plots. We don't have a team of secretaries or a dedicated HR department. If you call, you’re likely talking to the owner or one of the senior supervisors who has been here for a decade. We deal with the daily headaches of industrial life, like leaky roofs during the monsoon or finding reliable transport for our goods. It’s not a clean job; our hands are usually stained with oil or dirt by ten in the morning. We don't use any fancy management software, just some old-fashioned notebooks and a chalkboard to keep track of what’s going on. The workers are good people who show up every day and put in the hours. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just try to finish the day’s work without any major accidents or breakdowns. It’s a lot of hard work, but it’s what keeps the lights on. We just focus on getting the orders out of the gate and on their way. Each day is a bit of a puzzle to solve.
