Umiya Sales

We are based out of Plot 25+26/24 in Phase 1 of the GIDC in Vatva. It is a combined plot, so we have a bit more room than some of the others nearby. Umiya Sales is mostly about moving products and taking orders. Vatva is a massive place and it can be quite overwhelming with all the factories and the smell of various things being made. Our gate is usually open during the day so the delivery bikes and trucks can come in and out. Inside, it's mostly shelves and boxes stacked up. We have a small desk where we keep the ledger and the computer. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when the sun is beating down on the roof. We spend our time talking to people who need supplies and making sure we have enough in stock. Sometimes we run out of space and have to rearrange the whole warehouse, which takes a full day of sweating. We don't really have a big sign, just the plot number painted on the wall. Most of the people who come here have been doing business with us for years, so they don't need directions. We take a break when the tea guy comes around at eleven. It’s a lot of manual work and checking lists, but it keeps us busy and the days go by pretty fast.
